A meeting for Change

It had been years since Kida had last stepped on the city encrusted planet that was Coruscant. That she was here was a bit jarring, but following Abel she knew she had made the right decision in demanding he take her to someone actually capable of giving her strength, the power she needed to sustain herself and make a name for herself...unlike her previous Masters. Jokes, the lot of them. Even if Abel didn't give her any details...there was no way it could be any worse then dealing with them.
Agrona had fared well, but once her training had seemed to become effective...the woman had dissipated. She had left Kida behind and if Kida were to run into her again any time soon...she was unsure if she would laugh at the woman, or hurt her.
The falling out with Letalis that had gained Kida the scar going downward from her hair line on the left side of her face all the way through her eyebrow and down her cheek had been a blessing in disguise. While she had been lucky her eye had somehow been uninjured, their fight had destroyed any ability for Kida to follow the woman's training.
Learning from Tracitus had gone no where fast, neither of them willing to put up with the others antics or abilities...And so they had gone separate ways without a thought otherwise.
And so she had ended up with Renatka. How that had happened, Kida still was unsure...but the woman had continued her training far better then Kida had thought possible. Renatka had lasted about the same amount of time as Agrona...but her vanity and ignorance had cost her. Their last "mission" had been a farce, and Kida had used it as an opportunity to leave her behind...and took with her all that Renatka had. Her funds, her ship. Her underling.
Now, as she was lead into the apartment building, she was ready to actually learn. She knew the future was hers...and now, she would take it.
She kept her cloak closed, facing forward as the lift took them up...molten gold eyes staring back at her from under her black hood in her reflection from the metal doors. Once, long ago, they had been a deep chocolate brown. Her brown hair was cut short in an odd fashion, she had cut it herself and it was obvious, what with her jagged bangs in a somewhat 'pixie' cut. Average in height, right around 5' 8", she was barely seventeen and Her face was now thin and scarred, not only the one across her eye but a second burn scar going up her cheek...This one had been from Renatkas saber in a 'sparring' session to 'teach' her the same saber play she had already known. Her nose had obviously broken at least once, the not-so-subtle bump in the bridge making her nose crooked...perhaps she had deserved that one.
Kida realized she was clenching her fist tight...and she vowed to herself she would never be as weak and inefficient as they had been. She would have the strength and power they should have had. Three of the four of them had lead the Sith...And each had been cut down in one way or another because they were weak. She would not suffer the same fate.
The leather of her armor was scuffed, the fabric underneath much too big for her near emaciated frame...She knew well her appearance to many would make her request to learn affable...yet she found she didn't care. If this one would refuse her, She would go on her own again. It wasn't ideal, but she would manage if she had to. She was used to being alone by now as it was.
She had learned it was better to have no teacher then a detrimental teacher.

As the lift opened, several dozen Republic troopers pointed their weapons at the young woman. They were crisp, faceless and snappy: weapons articles focused on center of mass and ready to fire. They paid no heed to the lightsaber at her belt, nor to the fact that alone she stood at least a 50/50 chance of killing them all, depending on who acted faster. They seemed bolstered by something, and very quickly that something, or rather someone, revealed himself.
The man stepped forward in black armor enveloped in a black cloak and cape, clawed gauntlets hanging at his side. His face was hidden by a mask in the shape of a skull crested with a crown of spikes, and the red lenses of the helm burned into her like fire. The presence of the man was terrifyingly vast; the Dark Side of the Force was intense and all touching. He towered above her and crossed his arms, his lightsaber clacking against his armour as it shifted.
"You have come to meet with the Supreme Chancellor. Instead, I must insist you meet with me..." He said, his voice amplified by the vox caster on the front of his helm. "I am Darth Annattar...and you...you are my new apprentice."

As she looked down the barrels of blasters, she grit her teeth and crossed her arms over her chest almost daring them to do it. It was their lives they would waste if they did it really...her eyes darted to the one obviously in charge of them all...the black clad man, the imposing way he pushed himself to the front.
The almost sufficating way his aura flowed around the room...but when he spoke it made her scowl. She had heard this before, too many times...Would she waste time with yet another Master? It was why she had demanded to meet whoever had trained the idiots that had 'trained' her before...at least this one carried himself as if he knew what he was doing.
"I am Kida. I still insist on meeting this Supreme Chancellor." Her golden eyes set on the face of his mask, her expression like stone. "I have done this too many times, I refuse to waste any more time on useless teachers."
